Myopia
Myopia is an eye defect that prevents the eye from clearly seeing objects at a distance.
The problem arises when the cornea is too curved or the eye is too long.

Hyperopia
Hyperopia causes blurred vision of near objects because the images are focused behind the retina. It occurs because the eye is shorter than normal or the retina is too flat.

Astigmatism
In astigmatism, both near and far vision is blurred because there are different foci in front and behind the retina. The condition is the result of elliptical variations in the cornea.
